Experience quality assurance And Testing
When it comes to packaging design, aesthetic appearance is key to making a great first impression. However, it’s not just about having a beautifully designed box; the quality of the box is also important. Box packaging needs to be up to the job, ensuring the contents arrive in perfect condition and avoiding damaged goods on arrival.
Packaging box testing procedures help determine the right kind of box for your business requirements. At Jahangir Packages, we conduct several tests to assess the quality of all our corrugated and paperboard packaging designs, from compressive strength and structural integrity to sturdiness and durability. Our state-of-the-art Quality Control Testing Lab is equipped with advanced machinery to conduct rigorous testing, guaranteeing the durability and reliability of our products.

Edge Crush Tester
The ECT assesses the strength and durability of corrugated or paperboard materials. It determines the maximum compressive loading a corrugated material can withstand on its edge.
Benefits: The edge crush test ensures that samples of packaging materials meet specific strength standards, guaranteeing the reliability and integrity of the resultant packaging. It also ensures that they can withstand typical and extreme stacking and handling stresses and safeguards the enclosed products from damage.
Tensile Tester
A tensile tester is used to determine how strong a material is and how much it can be stretched before it breaks.
Benefits: This test helps select the right materials for specific packaging needs and ensures that these materials are strong enough to resist tearing and deformation.
Muffle Furnace
This testing machine conducts ash content tests by burning packaging materials at high temperatures to determine the amount of inorganic content in paper and cardboard materials.
Benefits: This test helps improve the durability and performance of packaging products and ensures that high-quality materials are used.
Paper Grammage Tester
The grammage test is performed on the material to determine the weight and thickness of the paper. The grammage of packaging material is measured in mass per unit area of a sheet of paper. This quality test helps to easily test the paper’s grammar and ensure accurate analysis of the quality of the paper.
Benefits: This test is crucial to ensuring consistency in paper quality. It helps understand the characteristics of different paper types and helps select appropriate paper grades for different packaging applications.
Box Compression Tester
A box compression tester measures the compressive strength and durability of corrugated boxes and other packaging materials. This machine applies a controlled compressive force to the test sample, typically a corrugated box until it deforms or fails.
Benefits: This testing process ensures that packaging can withstand stacking and handling during storage and transit, thereby preventing product damage and maintaining safety standards.
Moisture Tester
This test helps monitor and measure moisture content in corrugated and paperboard materials accurately. This process is critical to ensure that these products are free from deformities and strong enough to hold the material effectively.
Benefits: A moisture content test prevents issues like warping, curling, and weakening of materials due to improper moisture levels and helps maintain the quality and integrity of packaging products.
